What is the difference between an infrared lamp and a TDP (moxa) lamp?

An infrared lamp works with pleasant heat that warms the skin, accelerates circulation, and thereby relieves muscle and joint pain. A TDP lamp, also known as a Moxa lamp, additionally has a ceramic plate with 33 minerals that is activated by the infrared heat and emits electromagnetic waves corresponding to the body's bio-waves. As a result, the TDP lamp is often used in salons and practices alongside acupuncture or cupping, while the infrared lamp is the more broadly applicable heat lamp. Below, you can read about how each lamp works, and at the bottom there is an overview showing all the differences side by side.

Infrared lamps are widely used to combat muscle and joint pain, but they can also provide relief for back problems or abdominal pain, for example. The pleasant heat of the infrared lamp provides rapid pain relief and improved circulation. Good circulation promotes relaxation and recovery throughout the body. As the skin temperature rises, blood circulation speeds up and the heart rate increases. This allows waste products to be removed more quickly. In addition to muscle and joint pain, it therefore offers many other benefits. These include reducing skin diseases and conditions such as wounds, acne, and cellulite.
In addition, the infrared lamp is an effective treatment for stress. The product has a relaxing effect. In addition to affecting your mental state, stress also affects physical complaints. The less stress you experience, the fewer complaints you have, such as abdominal pain, headaches, and fatigue.

Do you suffer from painful and uncomfortable ailments and/or conditions, but nothing seems to help? Think, for example, of skin problems, joint pain, infections, or stress. Sometimes you cannot find the cause and do not know how to reduce certain pains, inflammations, and discomfort. The TDP lamp can help with this.

The lamp has a stimulating effect on the healing of many complaints. A TDP lamp is also known as a Moxa lamp. The TDP lamp cannot be compared with an infrared lamp or with the heat experienced in a sauna. The built-in ceramic plate with minerals makes the difference. The mineral disc is activated by infrared heat and thereby creates electromagnetic waves that strengthen the body's cellular metabolism. The mineral disc contains 33 essential minerals that are absorbed by the body when heated by the infrared lamp. This is because the wavelengths of the electromagnetic waves correspond to the bio-waves of the human body. Our body needs these 33 minerals to function properly.

The TDP lamp works effectively and intensively and promotes the recovery process. Its effects include improved blood and lymph circulation, the removal of toxins from the tissue, pain reduction, muscle relaxation, and a beneficial energetic effect on the organ system. Many people with fibromyalgia, for example, benefit greatly from this product. The TDP lamp has been tested with great success by leading practices and institutes.

Tip: combine an acupuncture treatment with the TDP lamp

TDP treatment is comparable to acupuncture. The purpose and effects of acupuncture and TDP therapy are almost identical. Both treatments focus on the meridians. Acupuncture points are connected to energy pathways in the body. These pathways are called meridians. Meridians are connected to various functions and organs. They supply our organs and tissues with energy. Heating these pathways by directing the TDP lamp at the acupuncture points has a stimulating effect on the healing of many complaints. The TDP lamp is often used in salons or practices in combination with acupuncture or cupping.
