Measured by LightLab International in the United States
In October 2026 the PrimeFORCE Gen5 series was measured by LightLab International in Allentown, Pennsylvania: an independent laboratory for light measurement. All PrimeFORCE panels use the same eight LEDs and the same driver. We supplied a panel from the series; the measurement, the equipment and the report are the lab’s own.
- 8 of 8wavelengths verified, each within 7 nm of the specification
- 87%of the measurement area above 20 mW/cm² at 15 cm
- 86%of the intensity at the centre is retained from 15 to 45 cm
Our figure, and how to compare it
Many brands publish a figure from a solar meter. That kind of meter is made for sunlight and reads the narrow red and near infrared of LEDs too high: for this panel, three times too high. So this page shows what the lab measured first, and next to it what the same lamp reads on a solar meter. That way you can compare us with any other brand on the same basis.
Our figure
Spectroradiometer, LightLab
66,6mW/cm²
centre of the panel, at 15 cm
A spectroradiometer splits the light by wavelength and only adds up what is actually emitted, from 350 to 1700 nm. This is the method laboratories use. The figure is lower, but you can put it next to any other lab report.
Measured with two calibrated Gigahertz-Optik BTS2048 meters, after the panel had reached operating temperature in line with IES LM-79.
For comparison
The same lamp on a solar meter
207,3mW/cm²
centre of the panel, at 15 cm
Measured with a Sanpo SM206: the type of meter behind most figures of 150 to 200 mW/cm² in this market. If you see a figure like that from another brand, put it next to this figure, not next to our lab figure. Every measurement was photographed with the display and the distance in view.
How the light falls
LightLab measured the light at 481 points, every 2.5 cm, across an area of 30 by 91 cm under the panel. The darker the square, the more light. Choose a distance.
- Centre of the panel
- 66,6mW/cm²
- Average across the area
- 49,7mW/cm²
- Dose in 10 minutes
- 29,8J/cm²
- Share of the area above 20 mW/cm²
- 87%
- Centre of the panel
- 60,4mW/cm²
- Average across the area
- 43,6mW/cm²
- Dose in 10 minutes
- 26,1J/cm²
- Share of the area above 20 mW/cm²
- 84%
- Centre of the panel
- 57,3mW/cm²
- Average across the area
- 39,0mW/cm²
- Dose in 10 minutes
- 23,4J/cm²
- Share of the area above 20 mW/cm²
- 88%
The dose is the average multiplied by 600 seconds, divided by 1000. At 45 cm the light covers a larger part of the area than at 15 cm: further away the intensity is lower, but more even.
At three distances
Both meters side by side, at the same three distances.
| Distance | Solar meter, centre | LightLab, centre | LightLab, average across the area | Dose in 10 minutes (J/cm²) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 15 cm | 207,3 | 66,6 | 49,7 | 29,8 |
| 30 cm | 182,7 | 60,4 | 43,6 | 26,1 |
| 45 cm | 170,6 | 57,3 | 39,0 | 23,4 |
All values in mW/cm², with red and near infrared on at the same time. The centre is always higher than the average, because the edges of the measurement area extend beyond the panel.
Every wavelength verified
LightLab measured each of the eight LED types separately. The large number is the measured peak, the small one the specified wavelength.
Unit measured: PrimeFORCE Elite G5-300. The other panels in the series have the same LEDs and driver, but were not measured individually; intensity may differ slightly by panel size. The lab did not select the unit itself. The report is a measurement and not a certification or approval by NVLAP, NIST or any US government agency.

Why are there two different figures for the same lamp?
Because two kinds of meter were used. A solar meter reads 207 mW/cm² at 15 cm, LightLab’s spectroradiometer 66.6. The solar meter is made for sunlight and reads higher with LEDs. Most brands only publish the solar meter figure. We show both, so you can compare us with any other brand, however they measured.
Are the PrimeFORCE Gen5 panels CE certified?
Yes. The Gen5 series was tested under the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU and the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU. The certificates bear the numbers FCS202608021CA02 and FCS202608021CA01 and were issued on August 27, 2026.
Have the certifications been independently tested?
Yes. The CE certificates were issued by Dongguan Funas Testing Technology. Irradiance and wavelengths were measured by LightLab International in the United States, an independent light laboratory. The solar meter report is our own measurement. Each document states who carried out the measurement.
Are the certificates in Liroma’s name?
Yes. Liroma Red Light Therapy, part of Triple A bv, is listed as both the manufacturer and the holder on both certificates. There is no supplier in between.
What does CE LVD mean?
The Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU. The Gen5 has been tested according to EN 60335-2-23, the standard for household appliances for skin and hair care, in conjunction with EN 60335-1 and EN 62233.
What does CE EMC mean?
The Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU. Tested according to EN IEC 55014-1 and EN IEC 55014-2: both what the device emits and what it must itself be resistant to.
Which models are covered by the certificates?
The Compact G5-100, Advanced G5-200, Elite G5-300, Multi G5-500, Max G5-600, and Ultra G5-1000. The Elite has been physically tested; the other models share the same circuit board and construction.
Which wavelengths were measured?
All eight, and they are in every PrimeFORCE panel. LightLab measured each LED separately: 630 nm peaks at 634, 650 at 651, 660 at 661, 670 at 677, 810 at 809, 830 at 833, 850 at 857 and 1060 at 1061 nm.
Can I download the documents?
Yes, everything on this page can be downloaded freely: the LightLab test report, both CE certificates, the RoHS certificate, the EU Declaration of Conformity and the solar meter report. We provide the full CE test reports to authorities on request.
